Do Not Call Registry
Telscape maintains a list of the names and telephone numbers of customers who do not wish to be called by Telscape representatives. If you are a customer with Telscape and are on the Do Not Call List, you may still be contacted for billing, surveys, service, and other communications. Telscape downloads the National Do-Not-Call Registry at least once every thirty-one days. In addition, if we receive a request from you asking not to receive telemarketing calls, a record of your name and number is made and added to our Do Not Call List. The records of these requests are maintained for five years, in accordance with all requirements. You must inform Telscape if there is more than one number that you want to be placed on the Don-Not-Call list.
You can ask to be placed on the Do Not Call List by calling us at 1-877-771-7736. You will need to provide us with your name, address and telephone number. It may take up to 30 days for your name and telephone number to be included on the Do Not Call List and removed from lists of prospective customers under sales programs that are currently underway.
You can also register your wireline and wireless phone numbers with the National Do-Not-Call Registry, either by telephone or via the Internet. You can register either by calling 1-888-382-1222 (1-866-290-4236 for TTY), or by accessing www.donotcall.gov on the Internet. Consumers registering by phone must call the National Do-Not-Call Registry from the phone number that the consumer wishes to register. The listing of the consumer’s telephone number with the National Do-Not-Call Registry will become effective ninety days later.
